Easy salted caramel sauce takes 5 minutes to make and keeps for several weeks in the fridge. Rich, sweet and decadent, it needs only four ingredients to make this super quick and easy sauce at home, and no thermometer needed! Throw all the ingredients in a saucepan heat and serve. Too easy!

Easy Salted Caramel Sauce

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

Rich, decadent and super easy to make.


  • 1/2 cup firmly packed soft brown sugar
  • 60 g (2 ounces) unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup pouring cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt flakes


  • combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over low-medium heat
  • stirring until sugar dissolves
  • simmer for a few minutes
  • cool 
  • serve and enjoy!


  • sauce will appear to be very thin, but will thicken as it cools
